Thank you again to everyone that supported, volunteered, played, did a workshop, and came to this year’s Combating Latent Inequality Together Fest in New Brunswick (well really Highland Park)! Doing a fest of this magnitude in our small DIY scene was definitely a difficult one, but the end result was more than worth it!
Thanks to you we raised over $6000 for Women Aware! We really couldn’t have done it without any of you!

WHORE PAINT is a Providence based three piece that describes themselves as “a Riff Rock/No Wave/Crooner Shred hybrid.” The members are Reba, Meredith, and Hilary. You can catch them this SUNDAY, JULY 15TH at this year’s C.L.I.T. FEST.

We will be hosting a screen printing workshop all weekend long for C.L.I.T. Fest attendees! We won’t be teaching how to make screens, but you can learn how to screen your own patch or shirt and how to heat set it! Please try to bring a t-shirt or your own fabric so that everyone will be able to participate!
Hey Ya’ll! The fest is near!
This year C.L.I.T. Fest will be hosting a Silent Art Auction in addition to bands and workshops! We thought it worthwhile to include visual art in the fest as many of our organizers, volunteers and friends are practicing artists. Initially we were simply going to have an art show, yet we thought it even better to have a silent auction as a way to benefit Women Aware! Our art auction not only allows for local and out of town artists the opportunity to participate in C.L.I.T. Fest, but also the chance for our attendees to enjoy and take home some cool works while further benefiting Women Aware. Please take a look at the works of participating artists and if you’re interested in a certain piece place a bid and maybe you’ll be the lucky one to take it home!
